In the last year a lot has changed. This is my first post since before the 2008 election. I need to get back to writing. Although I work at C-SPAN (they have social networking guidelines), I need to air my thoughts and this is a healthy thing. If i didn't allow this blog to be accessed by anyone, it wouldn't feel as relieving compared to writing in a completely private journal. This is a public record of my thoughts.

Years from now, if anyone decides to read this one day, I want my ideas and thoughts on the record - if for no one else, it'll be good for me because I forget everything.
